Spouse, Family, Partner, Guest Program
Attending URMIA is more than just an investment in time and resources-- it's also time away from the important people in your life. Why not bring someone with you? We have curated a special program to make sure that those special guests can experience Philadelphia while you focus on the educational and workforce development content of the conference.
Consider adding your guest registration with a conference meal package, or without, in addition to the program described below.
For just $99, the experience includes:
- A gathering at the grand opening of the community space early evening on Sunday, October 11 to meet and become familiar with other participants. Appetizers and refreshments will be served.
- A "rally-point" breakfast on Monday & Tuesday mornings hosted by URMIA spouses to meet up with other participants and make plans for the day. A full breakfast will be provided each morning.
- A two-day ticket for the City Sightseeing Bus that provides unlimited hop-on/hop-off privileges for the entire downtown Philadelphia area, including the Reading Terminal Market, the Eastern State Penitentiary, Independence Visitor Center, and almost two dozen other sites.
Two URMIA family members/spouses will be your team leaders to host you and get you where you need to go: Cinni Donovan and Jeff Huey.
Additionally, you are welcome to purchase tickets for your guest to other conference related meals and receptions at prevailing rates. This spouse, family, partner, guest program does not include access to the opening reception, conference meals, or the closing reception.
Be Advised
A guest is defined as a spouse or significant other, friend, or relative who is not a member of URMIA, is not qualified to become a member, is not your co-worker, and does not work in a higher education-related risk management occupation (including for-profit companies that serve higher education). If you have questions, please contact us.
All attendees must have a namebadge on to enter functions.
